A team of restoration and digital effects artists took the final episode of that trilogy ("Enlightenment" -- a well-written, high-concept adventure featuring a simulated sailing race in deep space) and laid in 21st Century CG visuals.

So, anyway, yesterday saw the preview of Doctor Who – Waters of Mars for the press. And one of my Little Bleeders was in the audience. Naturally the following review contains spoilers, but not that many – if you want to remain a spoiler virgin, look away now.
What I've noticed about many groups is that the same set of articles are clipped to them. Author's want maximum advertisement but because of this hardly anyone follows a group. Ask the author's and seeder that track where their traffic comes from, it's not from groups.

A new Doctor Who means a new logo for the show, and the BBC have unveiled the new look - which includes a Tardis-esque visual pun sure to please and anger graphic design nerds equally.
Screenwriter and film director Richard Curtis has agreed to write an episode of the new series of Doctor Who, his agent has confirmed.
Filming is underway for season five (called series five in the U.K.) of the adventures of everyone's favorite Time Lord, Doctor Who, and naturally, a few secrets of the next season have already been leaked.

BBC America has announced that they have acquired the rights to Season 5 of Doctor Who. This makes it official that the show has fully transitioned from its previous American home at SCI FI Channel (now Syfy) to BBC America.
The Guinness Book of World Records recognized Doctor Who as the most successful sci-fi series of all time in an announcement made yesterday. Craig Glenday, the editor-in-chief for the annually-published list, made the announcement at San Diego’s Comic-Con.
